Ok, Ive been looking but maybe Im not understanding anything, I used to military engines and dirtbikes but Im looking to but a 3.4L into my wifes 1984 2.8L Camaro after I was able to talk her out of getting a 4.3L. So what I gather is a 3.4 from a 93-95 will fit, and all of the previous parts will bolt on like the tranny, intake, exhaust, timing cover dampner and the brackets and accessories. So Right now I have been looking for an engine and the only things that I can find are 3400 or D.O.H.C. I do know what a Dual Over Head Cam is but is that what the 93-95 is or is that a completely different engine. Any help on straightening out the parts list that will fit and that I will have to get and some clarification on the engines that I find to the engine that I need.

your looking for a 93-95 3.4. rpo code is L32, vin code 's', came in camaros and firebirds.
treat it just like a short block replacement for your engine. use the 3.4l head gasket. everything else just goes right back on the car the way it came off. also make sure yours doesnt use the mechanical fuel pump, im not sure if 84 camaros were carbed....3500, 1280 cam and PR, ls6 valve springs, port and polished heads, ported lim, ported uim, 4.3 70mm tb, ported trueleo headers and y pipe ALL FOR SALE (minus the car)
