  • 3500 is in

The '05 3500 is in my '92 Beretta and although it is not in any way tuned, it still ran 15.09 @ 91.04 mph with a badly slipping 3t40.

How bad was it slipping? Every calculator I can find puts this 3100# car (with me in it) and 91 mph at 14.70-14.80.

I'm pretty happy considering it is throwing SES lights every nano-second for a super rich 02 sensor, and the tail pipes are covered in soot.

Just have to figure out why the trans won't shift properly.

    What computer/injectors are you using?

It's OBD I and right now it has 3400 injectors in it, and 3400 exhaust manifolds. Has a quad TB.
Chris (domesticcrew) has been messing with it a little (he did the install), it runs like crap, doesn't want to idle in gear, and the trans slips like crazy on the shifts, but it pulls like scalded cat.
So I can only imagine what may be to come once it gets some tuning.

There's your problem. 3400 injectors is causing you to flood out at idle and driving conditions. You need someone to burn you a chip to run the multec2's for the lb/hr and the pressure of the FPR.

If anything a chip for 3400 swap would get you going close enough. You got more flow with the 3500 but the 3400 tune would get you a lot closer and you wouldn't flood your motor out all the time.

EDIT: do you have pics of the quad4 throttle body setup? What diameter is a stock quad4 TB?

The throttle body is bolted directly to the intake.
It's 56 mm and it's running through a throttle box off a GA quad, which I also believe is giving me a problem, but that is another issue.
It's early days, lots of little things to tweak, but it is pretty quick.
