I have an 89 firebird 2.8L, a buddy of mine port and polishes heads and i can get mine done for free, on top of that he can locate any heads for me, i dont want to port and polish stock heads, i want bigger heads for the best performance gain, im thinking 3.4 heads, suggesstions?

The 3.4 iron heads are the same as what you already have. -

ok so you have done a top end swap on your car??? if you have aluminum heads, the 3.4l ironheads are a massive downgrade.

You have iron heads on your car now, that is what all RWD 660 vehicles were equipped with.
