Thanks! Also, I am looking for a few part numbers and was hoping someone on here would know. I would like to order them off gmpartsdirect but their catalog isn't the greatest, and my local dealer decided to come up with some stupid rule that they can't give out part numbers?!? Anyways, I need the number for the 2 rubber heater core hoses if anyone has it. I'm also looking for the number for the "water bypass pipe" (that's what the dealership called it) that runs across the front valve cover and attaches to the top of the water pump housing. This needs to be for the obd1 94-95 cars without the heated throttle body, as I don't want to have to bypass it. I don't know if these parts are the same on all the 94-95 3100 cars or not, maybe that would give me a greater chance of getting the numbers? If someone could possible verify this and/or get me these numbers it would be a huge help.
The heater core hoses you can get at autozone. As for the coolant pipe, it would need to be from a 94 to not have the heated throttlebody connections... (all the 95s i've seen had the connections for the TB)... I just got the one i used from the junkyard.

Don't mean to be rude, but I think you're thinking of 1996+ GA's. '95 GA's don't have a heated TB (I should know, I've owned and still own a couple 95's.)

My 95 beretta also has the pipe without the heated throttlebody. I thought I had gotten the part number for the proper pipe emailed from gmpd, but after seeing this I double checked their diagram and realized that it's the pipe for the heated throttle body. I've got the part numbers for the heater core hoses (inlet:22598982 and outlet:22598983) if anyone needs them. I only need to replace this pipe because my bleeder valve is totally stripped out on it (bleeder valve is part number 10070107). I called some junkyards and everyone tells me they don't have it when I'm sure they do, they're just to lazy to either figure out what I'm talking about or find the part. I'd go look myself if it weren't so cold and snowy. Thanks for the help though guys.
Well according to gmpd the part number was given using my vin so it should be without the heated throttle body. Part number is 10189219 if anyone could verify it, or if anyone else needs it.

Strange, 95 must've been a transition year... I've seen many 95s at the Junkyard with the TB heater.. (yeah! i checked the year!)
all those little gaskets and hoses will cost you the same amount at gm partsdirect as buying them from the dealer.
To stand behind dealers, how would you feel if someone came into your business then wasted your time asking about a bunch of information? then had you go else where to spend your money? Spend your money at the dealer, ask to give you prices of what you would spend at gmpd with shipping included. I bet they will oblige you. Dealers HATE GMPD!!!
Fuck my local dealer, they charge over list and I could have saved over 100 bucks going through GMPD for my subframe bushings/parts. If dealers hate GMPD, maybe they should get their heads out of their asses and not charge so damn much.
My thoughts exactly. The dealer didn't even have the parts in stock anyways, so I figured I may as well order them and save the money. That's not to mention their prices were double gmpd on almost everything I needed. That's without shipping, but if you've gotta order a few things they give you a good shipping discount too. It just seemed stupid to make me go through more of a hassle to email gmpd when the dealership had the #'s already up on his screen. I even used to work there, so I know it's total bullshit when they say they can't give me the #'s. Too bad I didn't recognize the guy that answered the phone...Maybe the dealers in your area are better, I called mine today to get an oil filter adapter gasket and they want like $2 for it when I read on b-net that you payed like 68 cents? Not that that makes that much of a difference, just an example.
pssfft. Fuck dealers... I saved over $500 buying from gmpd. Fuk'um. And unless they own the store, what the fuck do they care if they don't buy from them??
Bleh...

I paid $.69 for a oil adapter gasket from O'Reillys, I'd assume Autozone or any other parts store would have the same prices. This was a FelPro part as well.
Anybody know if I can use the camshaft position sensor off the 3400? The plug is the same, wires are the same except maybe a little shorter, any reason it won't work? (so that I don't have to buy a new one)
Depends on the years... The cam triggers changed in 2000 and again in 2003.
Wait, you want to use the sensor that is already in the 3400? If so, then yeah, it'll work just fine. I know that up to the 2003 change, the sensors put out the same signal to the ECM. As far as the 2003+ goes, I'm not sure. The design is alot different, but it depends on how the ECM needs to read it.
So to answer your question, you should be just fine.
