  • Need smaller temp sensor

I am attempting to use the serpentine setup from a 3100 on my fiero 2.8.
However, I have noticed that the temperature sensor that screws into the front of the 2.8 intake manifold interferes with the 3100 timing cover. I would like to relocate this sensor to the top of the intake manifold next to the fan switch that also screws into the intake manifold. It would be helpful if I could find a smaller version of the temp sensor as space is limited.
The fiero temp sensor takes two wires and appears to have a 3/8 pipe thread.
Does anyone know of a smaller version of this sensor? Maybe one with a 1/4 or 1/8 pipe thread?

Get the 3 wire sensor off the Grand Prix. One sensor will run the ECM and guage. Move the fan switch to one of the heads.

This sounds like exactly what I need.
      What year GP?
It sounds like you are saying that the calibration of the sensor is the same as on the Fiero. Am I correct?

I went out and bought one of these three wire sensors.
Now does anyone know what pin does what?

Pin A = Black, PCM sensor ground
Pin B = Yellow, coolant signal to PCM
Pin C = Dark Green, to Gauge

Correct. And if it did not come with a pigtail then a TPS sensor pigtail fits.
