HELP!!

Ses light is on.. but i also do noth have the erg hooked up beacuase i do not have an adaptor for it. I have it al blocked off. My car is not running weel enfuu to go get the codes read yet..

Use the EGR off the 01. Its the same connector.

well the codes will prob help, i dont think it would be that bad witout the egr, since it only comes on during cruising i think

The code was MAF low imput... I got an 00 Egr and hooked it right up, replaced the maf and that didnt work. But i noticed a sound from the tb right before it would die. It was kinda like when you use the hose part of a vacume and something gets stuck in it.. the "thunk". So i took the tb off and noticed someone used the 3100 gasket on the 3400 tb which blocked the air passage to the IAC. So i fixed that and it runs fine. But it started to knock loud. So i took apart the top end and replaced the lifters, since I was going to anyways and found that the bolt that holds on the triangle bracket, that covers the fake disributor plug was loose. So I replaced that bolt and the knocking stopped. Obviously the bracket was clanking around and made that loud noise. The person who had their hands on this engine before me, obviously didnt know what he was doing. I got it all back together tonight and it runs fine...
