Oh, you have to set your S-AFC for "Prs" or "Pressure" type sender.

if you want a copy of the manual, I have one in PDF format (in english)

.. I have no idea what the setting is for the map sensor, I think it's it's the up arrow pointing to the right (voltage goes up as pressure increases/vacuum goes down)

I bought one also but havent had a chance to install it.

How did your tuning go? How much did you pick up on the dyno? Or did it just clean up your curve?

I have installed it, but i haven;t had anytime to play a round with turning it, because of college, and study, i haven;t even had a chance to finsh breaking the engine in, and i had it rebuilt in the summer, and converted it to 5 speed, but i plain to be driveing it in the spring, and get it all turned up, i would like to see some numbers like low 14's in the quater out of it with the turbo, but we will see, but i do have to say is the rebuild alone made a huge difference compared to how it used to go,

how'd the install go on that? was it pretty straight forward with the diagram I hooked ya up with?

if it's a good diagram, I'll see if Ben or any of the other owner/mod's want it as a "tech article"

I got mine today. Going in my v6 Fiero. I think the wiring is different then the graph above as far as the factory harness colors go. I have my own
manual here to go thruogh to make sure I get the right wires connected.

It will be a while till I can get some tuning done on it. The harness is a bit short from where I want to mount it but it should still work.

Just have to match the right wires.

the install went fine with the diagrams, it seem's to be installed correctly, i haven't played with any of the settings besides setting it up for the sesnor type witch is pressure, and i set to 4 in, 4 out,

so this thing be hooked to american cars np? i have a 94 using maf, can it be hook to that?

also i have a 96 engine in the car. it has a map sensor but it isn't in use, can i hook it to the map if i power it or does the map need to communicate with the ecm?

and will the work using the map and the maf together?

also does this thing connect to your o2 sensor? or an aftermarket wideband o2? if not i don't see how it would be very precise on the air/fuel without input from o2 sensor.

You can use a safc with a maf and a map sensor. It all depends on how you program the safc.

If your map isnt' tied into the computer at all then you can't use the map sensor to adjust the fuel tables. THe safd alters the stock signal tot he computer to get the comptuer to change the fuel outputs. So if the map isnt' read by the comptuer then you can't hook it up to that.

If the maf is hooked up you simply program the safc to work from a maf signal.

it does not connect to the 02 sensor. if you want accurate readings get a wideband.
