Does anyone know where to buy and how much money it is for a OBD2 connector to a serial port for a laptop? Also what about the GM connector to laptop cable?

It comes with the obd2 cable, interface and the serial cable.
It is available also in USB output instead of RS232(serial).
obd-2.com has the interface inside the cable.
If you have already an interface, I recommend this cable:

FYI, all GM vehicles starting in 06 changed over to the CAN protocol with most of the 60* V6 powered vehicles changing in 05. The traditional OBDII scanners cannot read this protocol.Your local OBDII moderator
