I made one of those but I used a 12v wall wart rather than a battery charger... That's just nuts.

I used a gamecube power adapter,also the power in for the bench harness has a connector and I made adapters so I can plug it into the gamecube adapter, a cigarette lighter or alligator clips for a battery.
Before I found the gamecube adaptor I just used a spare car battery and kept it on a 2a smartcharger.
I used to have a power supply but used it quite often and it went out on me,I replaced it with a homemade power supply and then transistioned to what I use now when it became unreliable.Last edited by DefEddie; 05-18-2014, 12:44 AM.
