I've got several friends that know programming fairly well, maybe I can enlist a little help...

that may be of some use, especially if you start adding stuff into the program, like expanded MAF tables(i know the LS1 guys get this from EFI-Live) or other things you might want to impliment.

well, I'm definitely looking into expanding the MAP tables to 3 bar, and probably the MAF tables too. a side project I would be even more interested in, would be true coil per cylinder ignition.

I see some very interesting notes in there...

            SWITCHES:

            Calibration Options

            0 2 Speed Fuel Pump
            0 AIR Pump Option (X = Present)
0 Disable Accel Enrich in P.E.
            0 Flash Checksum Option (X = Disabled)
            X IAT Sensor Option (X = Present)
X Shift Quality Controlled by PCM
            0 Supercharger Option (X = Present)
            X Abuse Torque Reduction (X = Enabled)
            X Shift Energy Management (X = Enabled)
0 Dual Bank Fuel Control (X = Enabled)
            0 Serial Com. Fan Control
            Auxiliary Output Diagnostics

0 1-4 Upshift Lamp Control Circuit (P1664) No Error Reporting (Type X)
I wanted to add this to my Fiero, just to add to the stock feel a little bit, I didn't think it was possible with this PCM... ***this may be available through DHP or Tiny Tuner, I didn't look very hard.***

Edit, opened up DHP, and you can add this through DHP.

are you using the obd2 tuner that is now branded as a "JET Dynamic Spectrum Tuner"

Edit: nope, it doesn't support that PCM. or at least, through jet it doesn't...

ok, after looking at the the bin again, I've determined that the main thing I need to do is expand the fuel, spark, and MAP tables, I'd like to take the MAP to 3 bar, and fuel and spark to 8500 RPMs, right now, they level off at 6400.

FYI, it can be downloaded through Jet's website for free.

I haven't had any trouble using the software, just made a quick change to a bin file with it, saved no problem. I don't need it for upload, I have a DHP unit for that.

the reason I mention it, is that there are at least a few tables in there, that aren't in DHP, and Tiny tuner.

Well Jet is a .JCL file which is encrypted changing it to a .bin may have ill results open both files in a hex editor and you will see. Post up if you able to flash it or not

I haven't converted anything, I loaded the bin into the program, just as I have with tiny tuner and DHP

I'll keep you guys posted on it.

DOH. I see what you meant now, it won't let you save the file to a .bin, only to a .jcl...

this sucks. I was looking forward to playing around with that.

please bear with me, I'm a bit new to tuning and programming, but after looking at the descriptions on TunerCats website, I should be able to expand the fuel/ignition/map/maf tables using their VDF editor. is that correct? if that's the case, that should save quite a bit of leg work.
