Well I believe their is a cruise disengage switch and a clutch in switch. I don't have either. Unless the cruise switch is closed till I hit the clutch pedal. I bet I just need to find the pinout for the cruise switch and jump them together. I know to tap the brake or shut it off before pushing clutch in. Unneeded frustration to wire them up.

The computer must of switched what it wants to look for because I never had to bother with those switches it just didn't disengage it. But the cruise worked.

That's what I was thinking, is it was looking for a different type of signal now somehow... The only signals the ECU sees though from the Cruise unit is the Cruise status... at least that's all I can see from the diagram.

Following the diagram though, the shift interlock arrow (looking at how that's wired)it just goes to the brake switch again on the same pin which connects to the same fuse, so I think what it's saying is the brake switch is just used for the shift interlock as well as cruise disable... SO that would mean on an Auto it only has brake input to disengage where the Manual has both brake and clutch and if you ask me that wouldn't be changing any signal going to the cruise system.

Test something for me... Check Pin B (Purple or brown wire one, not white, There appears to be two switches, One for this function and one for the brake lights or "brake applied switch") on the brake switch and tell me if it's hot with the brake on or off... The only difference I see in this diagram is the "shift interlock" diagram shows the brake switch as normally open, and the M/T cruise diagram shows the brake switch as Normally closed... I wonder...

My powrtuner arrived today, which will be used in conjunction with my HPT package.
Sad that I need both to do what I want to do.

          Why do you need both?

I think the clutch switch input is pin 18 on the clear connector. still trying to find a diagram showing whether it looks for ground or open (probably ground)

I haven't checked what it wants yet but looking at the design of the clutch cruise switch it has to be normally closed. So am thinking that it is open right now disabling the cruise. Tomorrow I think am taking out my motor so I should find time to figure this cruise out

there are a couple of different clutch switches, so it may be either way.
