  • using the EGR as a wideband input

I just wanted to post a note that we have found an issue with trying to tune VE while using an LC1 wideband through the EGR wiring as a way to datalog. MAF is fine, but VE is not. The engine will keep running lean and die if you do this. It seems it works for the LS owners on HPTuners, but not us. Not sure if anyone else has ran into this, but it was a real PITA to figure out. Not sure why, other than it may make the computer think the EGR is doing something even though it is set to not operate below 284 degrees, as well as the codes related being turned off.

We are going back to live reading only, no datalogging for the wideband.
