  • Looking for some pointers -> scans inside

    Followed the Tuning notebook;
    however I can never seem to get my L/S fuel trims even, after much driving the Short goes to +/- 0 and the Long term settled at -5 to -9
    So I used the table modifier, now seem to be too lean?

    original scan (long 25 minutes)

    Modified VE

    Next Scan

    Newest VE that I am about to try

    I dont think I am doing something correctly though?

    Tips advise?

    (Maf unplugged ofcourse, using engine/mods in sig)

    "after much driving the Short goes to +/- 0 and the Long term settled at -5 to -9" . . . . having the sft at 0 is no crime, that just means that it is centered. lft being 0 to -10 doesn't seem too bad either unless you have some serious power adders needing more cruise enrichment I actually like these numbers. Remember, sft and lft are center at 0, that means the system is able to average the delivery properly without unnecessary corrections. Also, it would actually be kind of unusual to have lft and sft tracking each other or "even" as they apply to two different regimes of fuel management. Were you having a performance problem? What were the symptoms?

    If you ain't rock and roll, you must be driving a Honda

      This is a fresh install, 3500 using a 3400 fuel management ( GTP injectors and 65mm TCE Throttlebody)

      Following this

      I was waiting for the L/S fuel trims to even out, though I agree, I thought when the STFT hung around 0 it meant the Fuel Trims had been relearned.
