I may not be asking this the right way but bare with me. Do OBD-II ECMs use tables similar to OBD-I to define the characteristics of the injectors? My assumption is the tables are used to compensate for the injectors not having linear flow rates. I picked up a few books and one of the key points is that a good tune starts with properly defining injector flow characteristics. I am using OBD-I on an LZ9 with the stock Multec 3.5 injectors at 60 PSI and was wondering if it would be possible to use any of the information from an OBD-II in the OBD-I? I haven't had much luck finding flow data for Multec 3.5 injectors and thought an option might be to copy data from the appropriate ECM.
OBD-I uses tables:
Injector Offset vs Base Pulse Width
Injector Offset vs Battery Voltage
