Hopefully your PCM isn't like my wife. If it is then it could have lost the keys...

Not exactly the samething but check out ebay auction #280455113434 Its a programer that I have never seen before and is pretty cheap. I wonder if it is worth a shit. I almost want to buy it just to see if it works at all. But I just hpt and don't really need it.

So it wouldn't work on our cars at all? I ordered an elm 327 scanner off ebay hopefully it will be here next week so I can pull some codes on the old ladys aurora.

No that programmer will not work on our cars, mainly European.

The Elm will get you your info though!

The worst part of mine loosing her primary keys is now she has the spare (our only one for now) and the keys have a keyfob built into them and aren't readily available like they are for my car...

Well, I have been successfully in writing the App to get Seed & Key!

Also (though many have told me the ELM can't get the Osid) I can retrieve the OSID and Vin of the PCM!!!!

                Here is a SS
Let me know if anyone wants to try it out!!!

i have no idea what OSID is, but i am interested...

i can use my ATX power supply and give the PCM 12 volts and go through what i think may be the correct set of hex digits...

may be able to get the OBD1.5 tuning ball rolling...

I think OSID is Operating System ID? I know it is the PCM ID
example = the OSIDs that DHP supports http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...n1_K034oyJoMUQ

My OSID is 12221682 which is if you look at that chart from a 2001 3.4 Impala, which is what I got the PCM from.

I am inputing some different commands here and getting some interesting results.

The Elm327 doesnt do highspeed so thats next on my list, but I am going through some commands that a found in the HPTuners archive

Make sure key is on Position, engine off.. and enough battery power.

Without HighSpeed I know I can not flash, but hoping to be able to dump the bin from PCM with the Elm327

Maybe dimented24x7 can chime in here

I just remembered I have a 95 Jimmy 4.3 Pcm and connectors at the shop somewhere.
                          That would be OBD1.5 ?

from my diagrams, it looks like it. looks like the only thing that's removeable from the PCM is the knock filter, which is the same way the 93-95 3100 and 94-95 LT1 are...
