Need help!!!! I hate my cam!

Best run last night at epping was a 14.67@94.12mph, now when I leave the line the car feels slow and then wakes up... it feels like a vtak in a honda.
    8:37pm
    r/t .103
    60' 2.19
    330 6.18
    1/8th 9.458
    MPH 75.53
    1000 12.272
    1/4 14.673
    MPH 94.12

In my logs my a/f on the wideband drops to 13.4 at 11mph and doesnt pick back up to 12.7 till 25mph... I've upped the AE table quite a bit and I think I can see that change right off the line... But what do I need to do to fix 11mph to 25mph?

    Last run was 14.68@94.18

    9:18pm
    r/t .142
    60' 2.21
    330 6.200
    1/8th 9.474
    MPH 75.57
    1000 12.285
    1/4 14.685
    MPH 94.18

Attached are the two logs. Any help greatly appreciated

Your MAF table is out of tune when in FTC 3. That's why your actual AFR drops off at first then raises up. It's also why your seeing about .5 AFR difference between the commanded and actual AFR. Run Eddie's Thingy with the filters selected for just FTC3 areas. Try to smooth this into the MAF curve. I would also reset your AE table. Running 11.48:1 at the hit of the throttle is just flooding the engine and making it bog. Also why are you running AFRs in the 11.8 to 12.2 range? That's way to rich for N/A. But I do give you props for your LTFT numbers. That's how they are supposed to look.

Do you have a vacuum leak? Your MAP values are high at idle even with a cam.

Ok, someone else who said maf too... good, that way I know what to look at.

I know the final a/f is a little rich, I need to adjust for that too, I figure running a little rich right now is better than 14:1 like it was before.

Vac leak... Not that I know of, iac is around 40 at idle maybe a little less and thats good... I'll look it over tho

Slowly geting there.... Dragway numbers are more respectable.

Best run last weekend was a 14.039@97.70mph on street tires. Then put the DR's on and got pretty consistent 14.1's, a few a 94mph and one at 96mph, so my mph varies, not sure why quite yet, but here are the logs I got from those runs...

        first was 14.039
        second was a 14.102
        third was a 14.12
        and last was a 14.158

I don't have all the slips with me so I cant remember all the other numbers or mph, BUT what sticks out to me is I had 2.05 or 2.03 60' times with the DR's BUT the street tire run I had a 2.11 60' but got the quickest time. Only explanation for that is the tires are 215/45/17's and the DR's are 225/45/17's so they are slightly larger equaling less gear with those on... and as you guys know the 4t60e and 4t65e leave much desired for the 1-2 span on the gearing...

Well I am glad it wasn't the cam. Tuning can easily kill an area of the power band, making it seem like a physical problem.

Touche I see that as well... but as noted there is still room for improvement.

AE Enrichment is stock.. AE mph Modifier is a good chunk higher, so I'll back that off some and see how that works.

One other thing... I'm hitting a peak of 90% duty cycle... Granted I can back out some fuel but is that pushing my injectors too far?? Should I go higher lb/hr? 28's currently.

I need to do a run with a pressure gauge in sight so I can see what the pressure drops to at WOT... I'm not sure if the pump is holding the 55psi these injectors need.

X2 and I always heard that 80% DC is all you want for injectors. It's the reason why I have a set of flowmatched 33 lb/hr GTP injectors ready to go, whenever I get my build going.

now 33lb GTP injectors are Multech 1 right? so that means I would have to change my plugs AGAIN... lol

Just wondering so I know what to expect, but thats only after I determine if I'm even holding 55psi at 6400 RPM...

And Ben I never really thought it was the cam that was the issue, I just knew it was gonna be hard to tune for and thats what I hate about it... Its nothing like setting up a normal cam.

GTP injectors have MULTEC I (i.e. Bosch style) connectors. So you'll have to change them. But first, verify your fuel pressure and get your AFR dialed in.

Yup, will do, I was just wondering because in that case I'll take more care when I'm cutting off the plugs on my other harness to put my newer 22's (multec 2's) on the red car's 3400... so I have a set of Bosch style connectors left over that I can use.

and yeah I always put a h in Multec... LOL

when you go to the GTP injectors youll have to go back to 43.5psi instead of the 55psi which the GTP injectors are normally rated at which makes them 36lbs.
