    Yeah 10 is too low, even with a cam I'd say. Yeah Jon I agree with the IAC/catching it in time. My LX5 TB seems that the IAC responds a lot faster. I wonder if it's just cleaner than my old IAC.

    I had a 56mm 3400 TB plate that had no air bleed hole in it. I found that strange. The bottom of the bore had "air stains" from air sucking through/around the plate. But my 52mm stock and LX5 have air bleed holes.

            You never want the plate fully closed... relying on your IAC ALL the time is not good... also if the plate is too closed it will get pinched... anything below .60 volts on my car was pinching the thorottle plate in the bore.

              I meant do you have it open more than stock.. I guess since you have the CNC TB that isn't relative anymore. Hmmm. What does %TPS read at .6v? The TPS was aftermarket and bad on the LX5 TB, and read 3% throttle which made a high idle. I swapped my 3100 TPS on there and it was all good, reading at like .49 or .50 volts.

                the % zero's itself when the key is turned on at .65v, so it always reads 0%....

                Factory 3400's are .60 or something... mine is that on the red car, NOT .5 or .4

                  well its all fixed and runs mint no skips or shit like that. got the better part of 40 miles worth of data logged trying to get a sticker.

                  they totally gheyed up the rules for the inspections again, i went to 4 places 1 place was waiting on a part for the computer and the rest wouldnt touch the car.
                  2 seemed kinda shady, there like im not touching that were being watched and under investigation shit like that.

                  so in the end im still stickerless cause they didnt like my exhaust, they all cried its too loud.

                  one place even tried to tell me the tint on my windows was illegal, im like no its not so he pulled out his meter it came in at 38% limit is 35%. then hes like you got an exhaust leak, so im like no i dont its totally sealed no cuts in the pipe no nothing. im like its got an aggressive cam its gonna be louder than it normally would.

                  so in the end im pissed getting fucked again by this wonderful state.

                  ill post up the logs once i get them off the laptop.

                      i tried the shadiest place i know and even they wouldnt touch it. this is the place i use to take the beretta's to and he passed them no problem but he wouldnt even touch this car.

                      thats the same place i took the Z26 to when i first got it and the guy passed it with tires that were so irregularly worn and almost bald, along with none of the side marker lights and reverse lights working, exhaust hanging off. basically that should have failed but it still got a sticker, if i tried that shit now no dice.

                      it basically boils down to you can have a stock car and thats it

                      4 places and they all acted like my car had a nasty case of the herpes. 2 of them were kinda shady when they said oh were being watched and one of the places flat out told me that he just got back from a hearing with the registry people about the inspection stuff.

                      they act like i was asking them to do something illegal all i wanted was a sticker regection or regular all i wanted was to have something in the windshield so i could drive the car more.

                      if i didnt have shit luck i wouldnt have any luck. but on the other side the car runs and drives good. obviously theres room to tweak with the tuner but for a mostly stock tune it does pretty good.

                        well heres an idle video and few minute long driving video. figured id get some videos before i have to ghey it up to get a sticker.

                        wow they really went nuts with the retarded stuff this year. guess i ll have to rethink the steering wheel swap or find one that will work that has an air bag.


                        also does anyone have an idea on why both the abs and brake light would be on. the brakes are fine and still stop normal not leaking any fluid. its almost like im driving around with the e-brake up same lights.

                          You may have an ABS sensor going bad. It's a common problem with 99+ Grand Ams and it's not cheap. The sensor is located inside the wheel bearing assembly which has to be replaced.

                            wheel bearings themselves are not that old, id have to say maybe a couple years. i did both the front ones at the same time they were like 120 a pop with the guy at napa giving me a discount.

                            if you start the car up and just let it idle the lights dont come on but the minute it starts rolling they pop up.

                              eh, yeah sounds like bad sensor/wire. Just disable the light in DHP and you won't have Abs or a light lol

                                dont care about the abs i drove around for 4+yrs without cause of the bad abs shit with the beretta's.

                                just need to make the lights disappear for sticker time too.

                                ill have to see if i can disable that in dhp, i dont think i can do those in there. its the brake light too along with the abs thats on.

                                it might be a back sensor i never changed them since it was only the front ones being the problem at the time.
                                110 a side for the rears ill look into the connectors and wires first though
