  • What to do to my pcm?

Im making a list here. Im sending it off to someone (hopefully) soon.

Automatic Trans Codes Deleted (6speed swap)
    Pulses Per Mile Adjusted (Speedometer)
Rear O2 Deleted (Dont have one..)
    EGR Deleted (Maybe)
    Speed Limiter Removed
    Rev Limiter Raised (7200rpm? 7500rpm?)
Fan Temps Adjusted (Dont know what to do with this yet)
    Spark/Fuel Adjusted

Anything else I should do? Thats all I can think of right now...

your VE tables are going to be all out of wack with the tranny swap.. you might have driveability issues there. If there is a 5 speed version of your code, i'd start with that instead of the auto tune.

Stock rods are rated for 7k RPM, i wouldn't push them past that.

VE? whats that? I was told I would just have to set the automatic codes to zero because the manual isnt computer controlled..

            Volumetric Efficiency tables.

You could run into stalls, surging etc when coming to stops because it expects a load from an auto to be there. I'd look at the VE tables from the OBDI 3.4TDC manual bin and paste them in, or at least see how that compares and tweak from there.

bin files need to be opened up in Tunerpro, you'll have to download the .xdf file that's in the downloads section as well.

Uhm, you need a DHP or similar if you are OBDII to interface with the car. I was saying just to look at the older bins for what values they used to get an idea for what to modify in the newer OBDII stuff since I dont think 96-97 TDC had a manual option?
