  • Lean At Wot Help!, I don't understand WHY

When I get on it, PE kicks in and my wideband shows rich (12-13AFR) but as soon as I go WOT anytime my wideband shows 14-15AFR.

The narrowband O2 data in the scan here is all over the place, I don't have a clue what it's doing.

When I first got this motor going at WOT the wideband would show crazy lean (off the scale) but after upping MAF (a LOT) at higher hz ranges it got to 14-15 at WOT.

I'm afraid to just keep adding to the MAF it doesn't seem right. Right now at WOT I can only pull about 8500hz on the MAF but I think it's due to having a totally stock airbox... hell I think my engine is outflowing the little slit in my airbox that feeds the engine.

But I still don't understand why I'm LEAN. Help?

Have you done any VE tuning recently? What is your PE enable point?

My only VE tune was done in the very beginning of me starting the car, so no. I have the VE table for a stock 3500 now (I'm based off a 97 3400 VE table right now) so I have considered changing to the 3500 table then redoing my VE.

Here is a picture to show my PE Enable points.

Has this problem always been there or is it something new? What BIN file are you using?

Yes this has always been there, and I am using a 97 Venture BIN file.

Then I'm thinking you have a problem with the PE_Delay table. Powrtuner won't be able to access it, but Eddie can. PM him on the DHP forums and he may be able to help you. Also tell him your problem, he may know of something else you need to fix.
