I have experience tuning OBDI with my Moats Autoprom USB. What is the best option to tune OBD II. Who her is using what? Known problems? The good the bad?

Well you only have 2 options for 60* OBDII tuning, DHP and HPT. The down side is DHP has discontinued their support for their hardware. Which means if you have a vehicle that is not currently supported, then your SOL. Supposedly there will be something new in the future to replace it. But at this point, I wouldn't hold my breath for it. With that said, the Powrtuner still has the most flexibility in the 60* market. You can tune any supported 60* powered vehicle from 98-02 along with having specific support for your vehicle if it falls outside of this range.
As for HPT, you can do anything and more with it, than with DHP. But you will be stuck tuning the stock program that's in your stock PCM. If you need to update to something different, then you will have to pay for it. Which means if your starting out with a 96 BIN you'll soon find out that the 97 and later files have expanded tables that you will need for tuning that you just won't find in the 96 file.Your local OBDII moderator

Thats the kind of answer I was looking for. I have been tuning OBDI for years and checked out OBDII several years ago and found it was expensive. Prices and technology have come a long way in the past 5 yrs. I'm trying to get back up to speed on turbo technology and tuning. The last turbo I built was a 82 Ford Fairmont with a 200 inline 6, that was about 10 yrs ago. I'm a little behind on technology.
