Can someone help me tune my car, it's a olds alero 99 v6 3.4 engine, mmm with 42.5lb injectors and a GT40 turbo. I swapped the auto tranny for a manual tranny.
I'm using HP tuners.
What's the car doing? Did you adjust for the larger injectors? Did you know that HP doesn't, nor plans to, support a 1 to 2/3 bar MAP sensor conversion for V6 engines? So you will have to get creative on how you tune it.
Sorry about all the questions but for what you have done, it makes it hard to give tuning advice for something that is very custom.
Well the first thing is that I really don't know how to begine tunning ( where to begin). Now the car is smoking like a diesel
lol
mmm I didn't know that , but there's allway's a solucion.Till know I think I don;t need a 2 bar or 3 bar map sensor because I will be running 10 or 12 psi boost.

Since 1 Bar = 14.7 pounds, any boost requires more than 1 bar to function properly. Map sensors measure pressure relative to absolute vacuum. The pressure at sea level is 1 Bar or 14.7 psi.
1 Bar reads vacuum only from -14.7 to zero psi.
2 Bar reads vacuum and pressure from -14.7 to +14.7 psi.
2.5 Bar reads vacuum and pressure from -14.7 to +22 psi.
3 Bar reads vacuum and pressure from -14.7 to +29.4 psi.
Mm, I just tested the car it ran but not got I need help with tunning my car, is there some one else using HP tuner ?
I have problem reading or understanding the fuel map
OOoooh okies That I didn't know. Mmm so then I need to buy a new map sensor.
Uh no. Even if you got a 2 or 3 Bar sensor, the PCM programming won't recognize it. Plus as said earlier HP has already decided not to provide a 1 to 2/3 Bar MAP sensor conversion for its V6 customers. Sorry to have to tell you this. But if I was in your situation I would PM tejohnson. He has a turbo'd V6, yet still uses a 1 Bar MAP sensor.
It is in the works. The MAP sensor adjustments are available, but the powrtuner users found out that there is another variable that has to be adjusted in the PCM to make it work. Apparently when you hit boost, the PCM resets its barometric measurement to your max boost, instead of keeping it at normal atmospheric pressure. Needless to say that's bad. But, DHP is working on it. Just no timeframe on when it will be done.
Ohh them, so now we are limited for boosting
Btw I semi tuned the car it's running good, now Idleing good to , mm now I'm running 5 psi boost and it's going fast man. spins the tire's like on butter lol
But I just noticed that it has a oil leak between the heads, where the lower intake sits on the block so I have to tear it down again lol
MM just made a test drive to day again, made some new tuning. It's running like hell yeahhHh , now for fine tunning ihih , est horsepower will be 400 Fwhpower.
Mm can some one that has the HP tuner help me here's some pic's of the scans during drive
Cool, nice engine.Well it's not a prob it's just you need to get @ the program, Hmmm it's going better not the best but better. Hmm the car made 300 Whp @ 5 PSI boost on tuned. So say's the gauge that I have(AeroForce Interceptor )if it's accurate lol.
It need alot of tunning because right now it's running lean, and some times it runs rich.
But till know it pulls hard, spinning the tire's in 1, 2 and 3 gear till know.
