Are you looking at a 94 BIN? Because Somewhere around 95 they changed from MPH-shifted to RPM-shifted (which makes more sense). A dead VSS puts me in limp mode, and when my ECM got a false 4LO input, it was shifting to OD by 12mph.

In all reality, I could just swap PROMs when I wanted tow mode. Just put it on the list of stuff to do when hooking up a trailer.

all 94-95 4l60e equipped trucks should be $0D. 94-95 4L80 would be 31 or 0E. it looks like 0E is mostly 94 and 31 is mostly 95... i believe they use the same PCM though, so the BINs should be able to interchange if necessary.

        slight update

i modified a G1 adapter for use in a dual-tune TGP, but this time, with a 680 ohm resistor. now the idle speed changes happened in less than 1 second, compared to the 2-3 it took before... so it seems that lowering the R value changes the response time of the switch. i imagine it also draws more current, but a 1/4 watt 680ohm resistor seems to work fine...
