  • running Multec II's on DF BDJS ?

    hey there, was wondering.... to use multec 2's out of ?something? to run in my beasty
    2.8l/3100(1997top end) with mods running custom tuned 9396 BDJS <-- newest ?

    was thinking about fiddling with

    BDJS was the latest 3.1 DF BIN... BHAK is the latest 3.4 auto

    AFAIK, anyway.

    do KINJXBC5 and KDISFS actually have any effect on fueling, or is it something for the DIC/DIS for fuel economy readouts like most masks?

    i would just play with the EGR vs BPC table and do it that way. if you get no results, then i'd start messing with the constants...

    KF94MAP sounds like it accounts for injector opening/closing times...
    1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

      i think KF94MAP has relevance becuase on the 3.4 dohc bhak its at 200 not 163
      3.4 did have bigger injectors

      i remember, many years ago discussion on multec 2's with A1 but i dont remember what the guys were changing to get the multecs to run properly

        right, 3.1 was 16.7 compared to the 21-23 the 3.4 got...

          we run M2's on $A1 all the time.


          for my 3400 tune i adjusted the 0% BPC value, disabled the EGR and BPW vs Airflow idle mode.. then tuned the VE tables accordingly.
