Accel stuff isn't the greatest..... Just be aware that those injectors even cleaned might go bad fast again... Both their coils and injectors are known to not last, and sometimes be faulty right off the bat. That could add to the headache of getting the car running well... Always start with known good reliable stuff while tuning.

Isaac, are you familiar with the $a1 mask? because i'm looking for tables to change like the BPC and radiator fan turn on/off temps and i'm just not seeing them listed or will i have to wait to read the .bin from the new chip to see these things?

I dont have it with me right now, but it should be listed as BPW constant vs EGR duty cycle or something along that. Just search (control F) and type EGR and see what comes up. You should find it that way...

Max... Did you see all the work that John did while doing the adaptive wiring to the Lumina PCM? Jesus Palomino! I would have lost my mind trying to "Ray Trace" all that stuff down. It would be nice to see some HG still shots of your harness(es?) in place and set up properly...too

                  there's 3

EGR Duty cycle vs. rpm vs. load

Egr duty cycle multiplier vs. Coolant temp

                  and...

EGr duty cycle multiplier vs. load

                  which one is it?

from the way he described it to me, it's not that bad... FWIW: mine definitely looks less professional.

and which A1 XDF are you using?

go there and download my XDF database and use the A1 XDF labeled "my A1", i think it's the most complete version out there, if not, i'll add to it.

hey i found it in the new $a1 !

Base Pulse Constant Vs. Desired EGR

is this where I input the BPC of 210 (plus 5-10% more in the 3600 rpms +) ?

I'm guessing i should use your $a1 version for tuning my car robert.

that is where you deal with the BPC, adding in a little extra fuel to start: go to the "Base VE" table in the Fuel section.

ok i found it! but now i don't know what to do....

oh and in the EGR vs. BPC , i don't see where i'm supposed to enter 210... i'm trying to account for my 19lb injectors, is that where i do it??

select all of the cells that are 3600RPM and higher and then add 10 to them.

what BIN are you starting with? something from John or a stock GM one?

                                stock GM apyp.bin

because john hasn't sent me a .bin yet

but i will be using his custom .bin once i get it.

edit: i used the "toolbox" function to add 10% to all the cells 3600 and above, a slight moral victory for me!
