how does it make it easier: V5 is basically an upgraded version of the scannerpro engine, except now it's stable and is VERY customizeable, allowing things that V4 never could.
lucky for you, i play with A1 all the time, so i have a decent dash and features for it already designed and tested.
my autotuning stuff is EXTREMELY simplified. all you have to do is literally copy the VE table, the BLM and INT history( though i am working on a version that only needs one table) and then it does everything for you instantly. just copy the corrected main and idle tables into TP, click save, burn and go.

copy old VE table into spreadsheet
copy BLM and INT histograms into spreadsheet
copy new main and idle VE tables into tunerpro
press save
burn
somewhere along the way, you'll want to manually check to see that no bad packets got sent through the ALDL and give some crazy INT number... when mine has a transmission error, it's almost always 800RPM at 100kPa.... i really don't know why though. it's something i'll have to ask mark when he's not busy.

well i'm working on my VE tables (any surprise there?) but i'm wondering if some of the adjustments (i.e. .424) are just a little too radical. Believe you me this car is running pig rich, but i'd rather not have an extremely lean condition where my car decides to go....

Either way... i'm making those changes then we'll see if it's as rich as last time when it set off an 02 Rich error code and seemed to more or less run like poo poo.
