would "launch mode" be considered TQ management? i'm not sure if it adds or subtracts spark, i've never needed to mess with it...
so long as you reduce spark, you're essentially pulling out power, so i imagine it would help launch with less tire spin.

Well I know Lorenzo's (gpse3400) Monte SS (LS4) has something like it but uses it to save the diff in case of it peglegging. I also know that the aftermarket traction control I was looking at years ago still is really pricey, but you could adjust how much you let the wheels slip (from 5-20%). Reason I asked is it would really really be a good thing to use to help get good run times at the strip, prevent wheel hop to save components and limit torque steer.
