  • looking to take my car to some one for tunning?

i live in Oregon does any one know a place thats good at tunning the 7730?

There are a few people that can tune for you, but most only do N/A setups and I dont ever read/hear of them tuning for boost.
Do a quick search, it might turn up something, might not.

      hey! im in oregon too

there are a few members on here that could probly tune for you over the internet if you have a way of getting a datalog.

have you heard of PRE? bobby has some tunerpro experience and does awsome work from what ive heard/seen. but im not sure if he would have everything to tune/log the 7730 ecm. if you have the programs/hardware im sure he could tune it for you no problem

really?? thats stupid! what is your car/setup exactly? i was talking to bobby on another forum and he was going to show me a few things on tuner pro to get me going in the right direction

there is a lot of other shops around that do tunning, but im not sure if they have experience with tunerpro.. whatever you do dont go to VIP performance on 82nd in clackamas

rrev motorsports - 502 289 4020 (havnt heard anything about them but there ALWAYS at PIR racing) i was going to have them tune my car but i would have had to take another day off work so i didnt call them..
horsepower freaks - 503 256 5600 (heard good and bad about them)

i dont know if ether one of those shops would tune it but i know they do tunning. its worth a shot i guess

there are more shops around but i cant think of what they are and dont have them in my phone..

the owner of english racing is at pir all the time too.

is the $400 just to rent a dyno for 2 hours or dyno rental plus english racing tunning? i know of a shop that charges $65 for 3 pulls and then hourly after that..

i will keep trying to think of shops around here. i could ask around on carfreeks.net if you want (local racing foum)

that seems like it would be a fun build! how much power are you expecting? i was going to swap a 3400 in my fiero but ive been thinking about a 3.4 iron head. and turbo has always been a thought

EDIT: also, stay FAR AWAY from grumpys performance center on 213. they have a dyno and say they can tune. i wouldnt trust them to change a tire. they over charge by at least 50% more than other shops and love to lie

here is an idea for your fiero
                  V8 Archie Widebody kit

                  how about a choptop

                  or a fastback widebody

all of these cars and tons more are on Pennock's fiero fourm

and if you want to do a swap i recomend the 3800sc

                    thats a nice build

i dont think i will do too much bodywise on mine other than paint. maybe a fastback converson.. i like that widebody tho, just not the holes

i dont think i have the knowledge for a 3800, i dont know too much about them and i hate wiring lol

                        never heard of them

y didnt you do it then? a 3400 with the same amount of boost would probly blow a 3800sc away.. less work.. cheaper.. imo

idk i have lots of ideas for it, just gotta get my beretta completly tuned b4 i will mess with the fiero. already have a spare 3400 layin around too
