  • Idle Issue

I've made some good progress toward a rough tune. My open loop idle isn't too bad and closed loop idle is pretty good. The issue I'm working now is once the car moves and then come to a stop, it dies. Even backing down the driveway into the street and stopping, it wants to stall. Once stopped and if I keep it running, it settles down and idles fine. Any thoughts on where I can address this in the code? I'm running A1 with a 3.1/3400 hybrid.

    Thanks!

Turns out I needed to adjust the idle screw out a little bit to correct the problem. I'm using a Jeep 4.0 throttle body. Things are moving along now.

Yep, that's usually the case. If not that then check your idle BLM's.. I was working on a 3400 sunbird that had the same problem last week.. ended up adding quite a bit of idle fuel to correct the problem.
