  • 3900 Tuning 8F code

35 lb/hr injectors, adjusted to fuel pressure
    Zeitronix WBO2 datalogger
    APU 1 emulator

So far I have lowered BPC to about 69.
The 3900 O2 sensor appears to work fine, closed loop status onset is quick.

    Problems so far:

Integrator is bottoming out at 76 = rich. Will lower BPC more and adj idle VE

3900 alternator; 13v drops off to 12ish after a short time, suspect little 5v regulator is fading, it's currently connected to terminal "L". Will look into a stronger regulator since the voltage change is affecting idle stability.

I will disable closed loop to use the wideband for idle tuning.

Which crank fuel table should I adjust to avoid starting with clear flood mode?

I value input regarding what I'm trying to do so fire away. I have to get it running fairly reasonable before I can take it back to Atlanta with me. If it gets to hectic I may try the A1 code temporarily which is what I achieved the first favorable results with. I don't want to leave without it this time.

Did you read merlot's thread about the alternator issues? Are you using a heatsink for the regulator? It's good for 1 amp output and I can't imagine the alt would need more than 1 amp signal...

v6z24 has a few guys that tune and discuss the tgp code, maybe pick their brains some if you need help fast?

I added a heat sink after realizing how hot the regulator gets under such little load. The alternator may have some kind of variable regulator.

I believe they do, to take load off the engine under certain situations. You should still be able to by pass it.

Here is a datalog from TunerPro of what I have so far. I think the MAP reading at idle is high because of the cam so I may have to bump idle rpm up a little
