  • issue with my 60degree v6 store chip

Let me start out by saying this chip has given my DOHC engine alot of peppy life but one issue has developed it seems over time. at WOT when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd it seems to bang off the rev liiter/fuel cutoff then it shifts immediately afterwards making almost like a double clutching action except with an automatic. My shift points are set to 6500 i believe and Im actually thinking about sending it back to be put back to stock shift points. Please let me know if thats what I should do or is there something else I should do.
    Thanks

It may just be an old tranny. Mine is doing that and the computer of course is stock... The 2nd-3rd shift though is normal and at a uber low 5300 while the 1-2 varies but usually around 5700.

My '93 Z34 would do that every once in a blue moon, it too, was all stock. It did it probably three times in the 40K I put on it.

Do a 5 speed swap and you'll never have to worry about that automatic crap!!
