  • Can someone check this out...

Lemmie know if you see anything strange. I'm still having some idle issues when the VSS reads 0 (RPM drops and car dies). this is a log with an adjusted version of a retail chip (not at liberty to say which one).

This is an internally stock 3.1 5 spd (that i know of) with a nasty exhaust leak, no cat and a bunch of odd wiring issues.

I can attach the bin if anyone wants it.

    thanks,
    Dave

      nope, it's made for a 93 5 spd

the only things i changed in the chip so far were the fan on/off temps. the chip had them quite a bit lower than the stock thermostat.

You have this problem with the stock chip? Which chip are you running exactly?

Odd things I see after a real quick look...

The injector BPC is way higher than it should be in many areas. You're hitting 10-11 at WOT which shouldn't happen on a stock motor. Getting some knock at WOT as well. BLM's are still showing on the rich side though. Clogged fuel filter maybe? Partially clogged injectors?

O2 crosscount seem a bit spuratic. I'd probably replace the O2.

Car is dying because the IAC counts are dropping too low... IAC value seems a bit high at idle to begin with (around 35), so maybe try adjusting the throttle screw to bring those IAC counts down to 15 at idle & it will probably solve the stalling problem.

the chip is one that i aquired from you (well the .bin atleast) a few yrs ago.. remember the one that had 11 changes from the stock #A1

attached is a log with the original chip installed. It ran much worse with it.

I'll see if i can find another o2, i know where my heated one is but i'm not putting that on this car. lol

At lower RPM's while crusing it cuts out, spudders etc... seems to lack power as well. It's been a while since i've driven a 3.1 though... lol

yeah, that could be pmed to him as that has absolutely nothing to do with computer tuning.
