  • Finally some data logs.......

yay, now i just need some help in figuring out what all this means
    :P

you can download the 3 i have are zipped
scroll down, click download for free

FileFactory is the best place to upload and share files with no limits since 2005. Send and receive any type of file up to a massive 5GB with unlimited file bandwidth.

    there is an
    idle@2000 rmp
    idle
    and idle in gear

i have disabled egr, and ccp and calculate bpw as function of airflow thing

    my cars specs

its a 1993 pontiac grand prix
9396 ecu running aubu df code
    2nd gen 2.8L crank/block
    2000ish 3100 topend (small runner i think)
    port&polish heads
    factory manifolds
    comp cams 260H
    1.6 rollers
    4t60-e 3.73
factory cat, and mufler (for now) gonna throw on the hooker muffler and put in a "test pipe" in place of the cat
im in canada so i dont have to worry about emissions

well im thinking i have some sort of overlap false lean issue going on

i found some intresting refereces in the df.doc

      0DD3 1C 28 KFO2DLT 0.124 VOLTS DELTA VALUE TO FORM RICH-LEAN WINDOW FOR ADO2AF ("FAST O2")

0DD4 08 8 KHGTH 0.035 VOLTS MIN ERROR TO IMPLEMENT INT CORRECTION

      0DD5 64 100 KIDOXTH 0.442 VOLTS RICH/LEAN O2 THRESHOLD WHEN IN IDLE

0DD6 70 112 KIDLZU 0.496 VOLTS ZEREFU VALUE WHEN IDLING

0DD7 58 88 KIDLZL 0.39 VOLTS ZEREFL VALUE WHEN IDLING

      [/code]

but they are not added into df.xdf(definition file), and im affraid i donot have the knowledge to add them properly

id like to try to lower the o2 mv constants @ idle and see if that will help correct my surging, stalling, and hesitation on tip in of throttle

anyone good enough at math to help me figure out what the "equation format" would be to enter into tunerpro

      and are all these 8bit?

        Don't change the o2 constants.
Okay now, that's enough of that.

          meanings

I lookjed at the idle and 2000 rpm log. I dont know what you mean. Your o2 values are right on the money and the IAC is good the BLMs are low. I am not as experienced as others. Mine are 128. In the 2000RPM log the slower baud rate is showing up in the snail speed computer. It can adjust but will fibrulate to a no-load steady speed with engine mods. After a little time it should find a "happy spot", but it will take maybe 60 secondfs. This may even occur when driving if the fuel system is not right. Any changes there? Added pump pressure or regulator increase? Is this a speed density or MAF set up?
Here is the starting point for you to assemble and dissassemble code
“How to disassemble four dummies” (I am a dummy, so just for me level)

You need to download a dissembler, use this link: http://www.dewtronics.com/m6811dis.html
You download also the AS6811N assembler ,use this link: http://www.dewtronics.com/cgi-bin/asxxxx.pl

Download the DOS 16-BIT Version 1.0 (tick the “Automotive”)

You get the zip file “m6811dis.zip” after you extract the files you need to read the “M6811DIS.doc”

There you can find instructions how to make a “CONTROL FILE” very important file.
If this is interesting, PM me and I will send you more. Pretty deep stuff here, but not hard just patience.

            hondaetr, thanks for the reply...
i already have that mips dissasembler, but its not need anymore these days because there are some decent tuning software out like tunerpro for example which i use to play with the bin file...it makes it much easier than doing hex edits and calulating checksums manually :P lol
but i appreciate your input, i have not been getting any help with my tuning project, (except for ryan.hess) :P

ok so last night i stayed up( i do all my best work really late at night) and i figured out the equations... zomg im dumb ryan, i didnt understand fully what you said about the eqautions in the other topic... you take the current value in kpa, volts, whatever and divide that by the decimal value, then the eqaution would look like this

            0.xxxx * X + 0.000000

so ya i finally figured it out, and added like 100 diffrerent things to the xdf
