  • False KR due to piston slap?

Is that even possible? I ask because this '99 Lumina has a lot of piston slap, primarily cold, but still a little fully warmed. It's also got a crapload of KR under WOT. Think 6-7*! It's also pretty doggy. Very sluggish...do the math on the time to accellerate from 20 to 60mph at WOT in the linked Excel doc, and you'll see what I mean. It's pathetic. Fuel mileage is off as well, I think. Spark plugs look good, though I may replace 'em anyways. I'm sure the O2 is original, too.
