  • TGP Prom to run TT 3200

hey just joined up have a few questions regarding the tgp code. i am running a twin turbo 3200 in a chevette with a 5 speed goals are 7-10 psi
How would i go about running it in a jbody platform computer?
what size injectors should i use? what size did the tgp run i have a set of 21's here.
what kind of fpr did the tgp run ?
and basically where can i get a prom for a jbody ecu or soem code and dose any one have the $8f definition file thye can send me

the j or l body ecm and wiring is likley the easyest to work with.

the tgp used 21lb injectors, and i beleive it ran the same fuel pressure as the n/a 3.1l.

for what you are plannin/building, id honest, i would go stand alone. a stock ecm will get you so far, and it does have some advantages, however i beleive stand alone is the way to go for insane build ups. stand alone is far more simple to tune, and being you need to build/mod a wiring harness, it would make sence.

What size turbos are you using? I wouldn't go twin turbo other than for looks myself but if thats what you wanna do, you need some pretty small turbos for a TT 3100 (I assume its a bored over 3100 since you call it a 3200).

TGP ran the same FPR as the NA 3.1 as far as I know. It used the same 43 PSI at least.

We have an 8F document that you could create your own definition file from. Im not sure what software works with the TGP code though for scanning.

Contact the people on the TGP forums. They should be able to answer your questions. I'm guessing not too many people here are using $8F, or at least haven't posted yet...
Okay now, that's enough of that.

yea im funning a 3400 top end on a gen 1 2.8 block. for the turbos im running a pair of TE04H-13c will work perfectly for what im after and 2 turbos is alot easeir to run than 1 in my car. the appeal of the tgp code is taht 1 i allready have injectors and witrh the tgp setup i can drive it right away and the cost is cheaper.

how does that make it a 3200?

it's still a 2.8 unless you swapped in the larger stroke 3.1 crank and bored it .060"

is it possible for me to take a jbody ecum and using a progran like rt tuner or win bin modify it to read a 2 bar map?

That's how mu car runs, the VSS is easy to configure. EGR, meh, who needs that ? And my boost cut is set to 14.7 PSI. Running a stock 3.1 computer, from a 91 Cavalier.
