who has had a tune for the crane 272

i just got my motor in and it doesn't liek to run very well i hear some people have had a custom eprom made for them, just curious cause i need something. my car will not idle when in closed loop and it runs real rich with 3100 injectors.

i am outa things to look for or do

Hey Congratulations on getting the engine operational. I love the feeling I get when I start up an engine for the first time! I used to run a 272 on a GEN 2 a few years back. I recommend gonig back to the 3.1 injectors. That should help it some. Other than verifying your sensors are reading what they are supposed to read and haveing no vacuum leaks that about all I can offer. Another thing to check if your are running it, the EGR valve. Lately I've been going through them like crazy. Some leak air in some leak exhaust in despite being closed. When your ready Ben can tune it up for you, get that thing running top notch.

i unplugged my egr and blocked it off,i am gonna go back to the 3.1 injectors. i hope i don't have a vaccum leak but i am gonna check, my breaks are stiff all the time i'm liek wtf.

what all can ben do with out physically seeing my car,cause i wanna atleast drive this mofo in a few weeks i am so egar to drive it

Well you' d have to ask him, but he's not too far from you living in Lima. Yeah if you brak are kinda hard you might havea good leak. listen the engine very carefully. The cam you chose will still leave you plenty of vacuum for the brakes. The 3.1 injectors will help out with te mixture prblems...But if you do see ben, you will probably want to run with the 3100 injectors since they do come with the 3100. But if you really suspect a vacuum leak, care of that first and fore most. Definately something that will kill the engine when its inhaled down the intake, like carb cleaner and spray it all over the engine.

well the thing is i am not in ohio at school anymore and my car def wouldn't be at school

i am gonna send him a email, i tried catching him on aim with no luck.

this week i am gonna take the uim off of course to get the injectors in and check everything

my brakes are all brand new too so i think that might have something to do with the peadal being so hard?
