  • $6D files

Looking to see if anyone has worked with the (I think) $6D code for the 89 2.8 GP with a MA Pressure sensor. I would like to know if there is a good existing definition written for Tunerpro out there. I would even be happy with a GMPCM copy with $6D support if it exists.... I wanted to work with Mick on this project and woulda bought a copy but that seems to be out of the picture now

Has any $6D development been done?

A1 and 6D are pretty close, so use the A1 file...crap, i forgot that joe took all my stuff down thanks to mick. Ok, well ill reupload that stuff, then just the A1.doc file to look up similar hex value patterns in 6D. I don't have a very comprehensive .ecu file for 6D but its the basics.

OK, so I downloaded Tunerpro (doesn't seem to be quite as friendly as tunercat, but more powerful by far) and downloaded the definitions and some sample bins, but that led me to some questions

For example, I don't see a standard BPC or BPW constant or anything related to IAC?

A1 seems to not be that close, most of the values are scrambled like eggs when I try to look at them using the a1 def or mask or whatever.

Since I am computer/software illiterate, is there something I am missing here? It seems like there should be more stuff?

I want to make sure I can adjust a pretty full range of stuff because I am hunting for a cheap 3100 or 3400 from 2000-2002 to put in place of my 2.8 5 spd GP which lacks the kind of gusto to keep up with a new G6. I want to make sure I will be able to tune everything to get stock driveability back and no CE lights before I make the first move.

Forgot to mention, all of 6D stuff seems to be automatic, am I missing something there?

Also, the switches/flags thing makes no sense they all just say something like A/F Option Flag 1 or something....?
