    Wow,

    Good work.

I'd like to see if you can make it work on the 8F code (tgp)... I am using the 7730 as well.

What pin are you using to connect the WB to the ECM?

    This kicks ass !!

Pretty happy you figured it out.

To make it work with 8F, I would need a specific bin, and a commented disassembly of that bin.

Currently I have it set up on pin A3.
Okay now, that's enough of that.

unfortunately that doesn't particularly help... I can use the disassembly, but I need to know what BCC code was disassembled.. i.e. AUAF?

The file doesn't appear to say, it just says "GPTURBO.BIN"...

Maybe there is only one binary for the turbo????

          edit: found it:

I think that's the same file, and it is AUAF. They've also got a copy of the AUAF bin, so I know they match. I'll take a look at it.
Okay now, that's enough of that.

Cool. See what you can do man. I wish I could help, but , well, I don't have a clue.

            Thanks!

I'm going to need wiring diagrams. I can't read the ones on diy-efi.

Also, what specifically is the difference between the 7727 and the 7730? I know the 27 is waterproof blah blah blah, but what pins changed?
Okay now, that's enough of that.

Wiring is online someplace, I'll look.

Difference between the 7727 and 7730 is not much, as I said though I am using the 7730, and I haven't changed anything else besides the chip, and it works fine. Internally they are the same, they changed the connectors, and that's all.

                GOOD SITE FOR DIAGRAMS :

Is that one going to help?

I've already got that printed out and stapled to my forehead...

I'm looking for something like this:

                  ftp://ftp.diy-efi.org/pub/gmecm/manu...7730/31v-1.jpg

but bigger and clearer so I can actually read it...

FACK! I had the exact thing you're looking for today, It's online someplace, i know it....just gotta find it.. it even had the wire colours and all.

Damn thing, lemme see here, if I can find it.

You need the 7730 or the 7727?

Oh, right... sorry, I haven't been paying attention.

Okay, so you're using the TGP code in a 7730? I was told there was one or more pins that don't carry over... Which ones were they? I believe it might have been a wastegate pin or something...

Do you have everything set up and ready to go to do some testing?

Also, I assume you have a custom programmed binary that you're running right now? Would it be much work to copy everything you've changed over to a "stock" TGP binary with my new code in it?

Oh, one more thing - do you have a tunerpro ALDL definition file for the 8F, or am I going to need to make one of those too?
Okay now, that's enough of that.

Yup, wastegate, no worries, I dont use one.

I could do that, I'll judt use the "difference" tool in Tunerpro, work back to what I have now.

I do have a tunerpro definition file ready to go.

                        THANKS!

Gotcha. Car buried in snow, or stuck in the garage?

Send me an email with the 8F ALDL definition, and I'll get started. It looks pretty straightforward.

                            E-mail sent.

Car's stuck in the snow. about 3 feet of it. getting another 12-14 " tonight...

My spring break is in 1 week from now, I was supposed to be working on my car, looks like I will be snowmobiling instead.

So what excatly are you going to have to do? I was told you can just throw the 0-255 value in where that ALDL scans the "fuel pump voltage", then just add in the factors to whatever you need...

I guess my .bin will also need a patch? or a new modification?

My LC-1 WB02 is fully programmable, I can take car of the factoring, and all them goodies, I just need to get the initial number somewhere where I can see it.

                            Thanks!

Well, if you want to get technical, I create a new subroutine to read the unused input pin. It gets called anytime the "original software" reads the o2 sensor voltage. After it completes that, instead of going back into the loop, I send it to my new routine, which reads the WB, stores the value in ram, and then goes back to the original loop.

I then have to change the part of the program that sends the ALDL data, to include this new information, which gets read from the value stored in ram. Then I just have to alter the ALDL definition to read that value.

I'll send you an email now...
Okay now, that's enough of that.
