The car in question is a 1999 Chev Lumina. Gotta work out the transmission issues first, but once that is done, I plan on working the car over with DHP PT. For those of you that have messed with a similiar setup at all, what has GM left on the table in the PCM's of these cars? Is there a lot to find? I know I want to putz with the transmission to make shifts firmer, and probably try to optimize shift points somewhat. I'd like to pull some power out of it, and would like to know, generally speaking, if there is more power to be found in advancing timing, or leaning it out some. I do NOT want to negatively effect fuel mileage, as this car may turn in to a daily driver versus the thirsty Olds I'm driving now. If I get really ambitious, I might do a 3400 intake swap on the car. Thanks for your help.

Go over to GAGT.com, under the All GO area, then tuning. There are a bunch of GAGT people using the DHP PT. Also, DHP has a forum setup (somewhere) where I'm sure you'd find a ton of good information.-Brad-

I am using the DHP PowrTuner to tune my 2001 Grand Am GT. It is a great tuning device and is somewhat user friendly.
The DHP Forum is GMv6pcm.com, however the DHP portions of the site are hidden. At first I found the hidden forums to be dumb, but now that I look at it I see it as a good thing. The reason that I like it is that you get advice from only tuners, you cut back on alot of pointless questions, and there are alot of little perks that you get by not having it an open forum.
Also if you guys want oppinions of DHP and HPtuners I believe Ben has used both. I atleast know that he has used my DHP tuner.2000 Grand Am GT
