  • Bin files back up, labeled, etc

I still have to get all the detailed information on the site but at least you can now see all of the 60V6 related .bin files that I have (J A L W body so far). I haven't done all of the export, elevation, or california version as it was quite a task to get all of the chips setup on the store. You can go to 60degreev6.com/store right now and go to 2.8/3.1, then look at the chips. The BBC codes for each chip are in a drop down menu.

That is where you will find the stock .bin files for download. You will also see that I have uploaded DF.doc. Thanks to GMPCM for screwing everyone, I have decided to just post this up in hopes that we can get some good knowledge shared here, and make a collective effort to make a good complete (or close enough) file for tunerpro. Once I located A1.doc, I will upload it as well. I also hope that by doing this we have more people interested in tuning and perhaps even build a database of who to go to if you want your car tuned. Long distance tuning sucks and I would much rather deal with local people or those willing to bring the car to me.

So that is all for now. If people want to start making the definition file, we need to organize it so that we don't have the same areas being added over and over. Let me know if this is of interest.

Looks like you are the only one. Only 1 person has downloaded A1 or DF.

Thanks for the A1.doc file! I assume that I can use the A1.doc to create or update an ecu file to use with tunerpro? Excuse my ignorance.

yup, you can use it to make a definition file or add onto another, or even make sure an existing one is accurate.

I'm in for the .xdf files.

Got a turbo V6 $8f one here thats just about done...

I am sure that could help a few people out. If we get together and work out the files, it would be pretty cool.

I emailed jeff for the complete 8F code like we have for A1 and DF but who knows how that will turn out:P Im sure 8F will be very useful to those that want to boost their cars. I can't really help with it though as I don't have the layout nor do I know how to look at assembly code:P

tunerpro has an A1 file already that we can use to start with. DF, i have my .ecu file that would need to be converted. Might be easier to start from scratch though on it to give it better titles. I dunno. Ill upload it later when im back on my desktop computer.

I'm working on modifying the A1 code to work with my 3400 swap. I'd be glad to give up the modified one for all the little speed junkies who don't want to bother with programming the chip themselves. It would be a good place to start for anyone who is doing a performance build, like I am.

I haven't had any good luck converting ecu files. I'd just start from scratch. Make a list of the variables you need and their conversion factor and you could have the XDF file done in about an hour.

i realize this is an old topic, but i feel it would be great to have this site focus on tuning, and build up some good Q & A's (this time i wont hijack your thread ben lol..sorry i know i posted some incorrect stuff for 8d)

i have pitched in and made a pretty damn complete df xdf for tunerpro and i have a df ads aldl logging file im working on, and will upload that for this site soon, and maybe work on some faq's later with your help or sommin, thad be cool

is there anyone here that would be willing to work on a a1 def for tunerpro, the a1 doc can be downloaded off this site here in downloads.
                  it would be greatly appreciated

                  on a side note...
                  whats the code for turbo 7730's ? 8f ?
and would it be hard to hack up the bhak and make it usable for turbo ?
not sure all what is involved
