no codes, no SES light, wtf?

ever since i turbocharged my Cutlass i have never gotten one code or even an SES light. today i unplugged the AIT sensor and drove a couple miles and still nothing. when the car was NA it would have definately given me an SES light right away with the AIT unplugged. maybe i should try disconnecting something else to try to trigger a code?

i am using a TGP chip that has been modified for use with 5-speed by god910. is something wrong here? damn i wish i had a PC. i have the MaStach ALDL cable i just don't have a laptop yet

when i check codes with a paperclip all i get is code 12 over and over again.

I know if you replace the memcal with one of a diffferent calabration (even maybe a miniture change like fan on temp between chips) without disconnencting the battery..the PCM will go into limp mode (check sum error prob.). I'd try disconnecting the batt for 30sec..then connect it again.

well i have had the battery disconnected a few times now since the last time i put the memcal in. that never made any difference. today i unplugged the CTS, that made it harder to start but still no SES light or code. then i unplugged the IAC plug and that made it idle pretty high but still no codes or SES light. i know it's going into diagnostic mode because the fan comes on and i do get the code 12 but that is the only code i ever get.

could there be a problem with the memcal or ECM?

EDIT: i think i'm going to try putting my TSTE memcal in the Cutlass and see what happens...
