I just set up a minimalist tune to try it out. I changed the fan turn on temps, shift points raised from 5900rpm to 6200, speed limiter, and some other little stuff just to see if it would even work. It took all of 45 seconds for it to download on to my cars PCM. And BINGO it works. car started right up. I have yet to test my changes, but it DID start and run perfect. I drove it down the street to pick up the abandoned Fiero that killed the alternator or wires, when with the 96 W body calibration it did not let the car run for more than 2 seconds.

This was all done on my 96 Z which is stock minus the K&N cone and the newer 2000 3100 with big port intakes. If anyone is interested in purchasing a DHP powrtuner for their 1996 Beretta or Corsica and you have the cash to spend NOW, PM and I will give you the information. Also if you have a 94-95 Beretta and are interested in converting your bastard car to OBDII I can help with that also, I converted Erich's 95 Beretta to OBDII earlier this year, with the DHP it will allow you to remove fault codes to run a 5spd transmission or remove your EGR and rear 02 sensor or anything else.

Looks like converting to either OBD1 or OBD2 is the way to go for the OBD1 flash cars. At least its a 96 OBD2 this time. How much does that cost, and does it work for all 96 beretta/corsica cars?

its $410 and you can have two V6 cars, say you have a friend with an L67 GTP or something you can go halves on this and its $205 each. You do need a decent running laptop to use this software however. It works on any OBDII Beretta or Corsica.

I believe it may also work on 1996 N bodies as well. We just used the scan software to find an issue in my DGGM's TPS sensor voltage which explains a lacking performance we've noticed.
