  • quad driver "A" failure

a few weeks ago i had and error in my ecm that said i had a quad driver "A" failure. can any one tell me what dose this control i know that its some sort of voltage out put in from the ecm the reason iam asking is iam wondering if this is causing the problems with my trans dropping out of overdrive at cruise speed which keeps kicking off the tcc switch. i cleared the code. do i need to replace the ecm? 94 3.4 gp. when i cut the engine off real fast and back on the tcc will come back on for a while then drop out again.

    You just missed it..LOL.
It controlls selinoids and relays. Your TC sleinoid, fan realay, even your EGR valve. Check for shorted wires. Might need a ECM.
