TGP code on a 3400 w/turbo?

I am swapping out my 3100 with a 3400. I got the 3400 this morning. And am putting a turbo on it. Yay! I am converting to obd 1.0. Is it possible to copy tgp code to the 9396 dohc computer to temporarily run my system until i have it professionally tuned? Just to get it started?

Using tgp injectors, fuel pump??

What # injectors do the tgp's use vs the 3400 injectors? or am I going about this all wrong?

you'll basicly have to do the same thing - run the TGP ecm with a chip customized for the 3400

I'm actually upgrading tp GTP 36# injectors for the TGP ecm to run my turbo 3.4dohc - it simplified the wiring a good bit because it no longer used the cam position sensor or the second crank sensor, 2 bar map, mat, coolant temp sensor, tps, iac, injectors, O2 - thats about it.

the 3400 is a MAF setup.. should be able to take a few psi without needing anything drastic like a TGP ecm.. any particular reason you want to use the TGP code?

lol - well me too - thats why i grabbed a TGP ecm and ditched the 3.4dohc ecm..

it'd still need some tuning to work with the 3400 - you could probably just get a moates.net emulator to tune the 3400computer to understand the increased airflow

1227727's (TGP computer) and 16149396's are almost plug and play swappable. 90% of the pins are the same. The EGR and Transmission connections are the only differences AFAIK.

But yes, If you must, you can start and drive with the TGP code in the 9396 and it will run, but IIRC it will run like crap and throw a fit. I reccomend you don't do this.

what do mean by "IIRC it will run like crap and throw a fit" i'm running the TGP.bin on my 93 3.4 dohc computer, and the only thing i found was different on wiring was the pressure switch for the a/c cause they didn;t use the a/c tranducer like the 93 a/c did
