  • ecm pinout for a 95 beretta to a 98 turbo grand prix?

Hey guys. I am trying to find out if an ecm for a later model turbo car will work to replace my 95 beretta ecm. I am trying to eliminate converting back to obd1 and swapping all of my sensors to get the ecm to work. A little back ground ifo on the motor here. I have a bowtie aluminum block that am adding a supercharger to with 20 psi on it. I am going to be running around 570 lift and 220 duration with the reground factory roller cam and 1.8 rockers and am milling the block to get the cam position sensor back in. Setting up the ecm to map the boost and change the rev limits to what I need they are telling me is a problem and want to swap to a different ecm. To just map the boost wasn't a problem but modifying the shift and rev limits was the problem. This car is supposed to be obd1 but it is an obdII ecm. I bought the car new but there are some interesting things about it. Any advice here would be appreciated.

There isn't a 98 Turbo GP. In fact, GM hasn't turbo'd a factory 660 since the TGP, and it ended in... 93?

Oh. Would you happen to know if they use the same pinouts as the 95 on the newer models?

Nope. The ECMs have changed several times since 95, so any pinouts would not be the same.

That 95 is a Tech 1 ecm from what I heard...not obd1 or II..just tech 1. 94-95 sucked!. YOu will need to use a 98 GTP (supercharged) ECM and wireharness and sensors. Or a 93 and older beretta ECM and wireing to use the TGP programming or add a few wires for a syty programming with a 749 ecm. Or go stand alone.
