Hey, I'm looking for some samples of code people have written for this pcm, preferably using gmpcm as that is what I use, although if you are using something else I could probably acquire that. I just want to get an idea of what things people have changed in their coding in order to accomplish goals. Looking for things like tgp code for dohc and 3400 motors, NA tunes, changes for injector size, all kinds of things really. Thanks.

If we need a sticky for code changes for different mods, that would work for me. If people start sharing, I will share some of the stuff I have changed and explain why. Im sure we can get a nice list going if there are enough people tuning the stock ECM.

I would love to share my stuff, I have no reason to hold it back, this community needs any help it can get after all. Except I'm still learning, i.e. have only a rudimentary idea of what I'm doing so I'm afraid someone grabs the poor code I've modified and thinks it's worthwhile then explodes their motor. Either that or they make fun of some stupid error I most definitely made.

I have started tunning, my notes are online, but I haven't gotten anywhere yet. I need my FORD / 3500 plenum IAC adapter thing to go any further. I run to the mail everyday! lol.

Thats with 30# injectors, and the TGP code with the 5 spd. patch. notes are VERY vague, and some changes are missing, but I will try and add stuff as I go along.

It just runs WAY rich at this point.

OT, but I just got my IAC adapter from Marty today, I'll assume you paid about the same timeframe I did so it should show up soon hopefully.

edit, great idea with the documentation, I think I'll do the same when I reach that point

I am in Canada, so it takes more time. customs...

But yeah, it's a VERY good ideal to take notes!!!

Also, GMPCM has the "compare" feature that helps greatly, save a stock file, then save your new file, and with compare you just click it, and it lists eveything you changed on the chip. VERY nice feature.

The admin. over @ gmpcm.com is very knowledgeable (sp!?) ....anyways, , he knows his stuff, and if you look I made a couple posts there that you may want to read. Just more info to stuff into your brain.

Is the admin over there used to post under mechanic over here? If I'm thinking of the same guy he's helped me a little with my swap already, he runs a turbo 3100 fiero.

Yeah, mechaninc, thats the guy... has a pretty cool Fiero from what I see.
