  • 1994 3100 PCM Tuning

So looking around the internet at all the usual places I am not finding any support for this ECM. Do any of you guys know of a software package that supports it?

www.fastchip.com is the only place I know that even touches it. But I wasn't very impressed when I had mine done by them. I had it programmed for 2 days and brought it back to get flashed back to stock. But I was trying to compensate for an aggressive cam.

Hmmm... thanks for the tip (and for moving my thread... oops). Right now it's a stock engine so I'm not real concerned about tuning. The most pressing issue for me right now is removing the speed limiter... I'm running shorter tires than stock so it kicks in at ~100mph or less. I was hoping I could buy a setup so I could do actual tuning if I ever felt like it. Oh well, this might have to do for now.

Just looked at the website. Holy crap... $300?!

Also I did not think that this ECM would be a flash ECM... I was expecting memcal. hmm.

Well, I was feeling bored so I emailed tunercat (www.tunercat.com) this weekend and asked them about the possibility of supporting this PCM. They do have support for '94/'95 F-body PCMs, which are also flash, so I was hoping this might increase the likelyhood that they would figure out the 3100 PCM.

            This was their response:

            "Hi Andy,

Thank you for the information. We'll put this application on our to-do
            list
and take a look at it as soon as we can.

            Best regards,

            TC"

Hard to tell if it is promising or not but I guess we'll see.

bszopi,,,, why did you have your pcm re flashed back??? doesn't it take your new computer like 100 miles to relearn? maybe you had it reflashed before your computer could relearn? i have no clue, kinda shootin in the dark.
