i have a 97 3400 swapped grand am with manual transmission. using a milzy motorsports tuned 97 3100 lumina computer. I didnt know that there is a slight difference in pcm harness connectors before i shipped it off to be tuned, now im stuck with the WRONG $180 pcm. everything functions but it runs poorly after start up and sounds like its running on 4 cylinders. getting gas in the oil.
i also have a 97 buick century pcm that the car will run much better on but it dies after 3-5 seconds, and the gauges dont get any data. a user here kindly gave me the pcm pinouts for the three different computers, but i cant figure out what the main difference in the wiring is before i start re-pinning my engine harness. can anyone tell me what wires need to be moved for it to run correctly? im at a loss here.
