Can the tgp code run a digital egr valve from an 89 grand prix 3.1. It is my understanding that the wires for the digital egr valve in non turbo grand prix went to the wastegate control on the tgps. Looking through the flags, I saw one in the tgp code that had the option to enable digital egr as opposed to vaccuum activated. If I wired the wastegate wires/digital egr wires to the digital egr and enabled the flag, would the digital egr work? I don't need the wires for boost control as I intend to use other methods to control boost.

If the wires really are the same ones like you say they are, then I certainly don't see why it wouldn't work. The worst that can happen is you can try it and have it not work.

Either that or I could pull the ERVG or whatever the vacuum activated egr system is out of my fiero, but that would be more trouble. I'm thinking a disable might be in order if this fails, although I hear that makes cylinder temps extra high and causes holes. But I think that might just be if I create a block off and don't disable egr.
