  • Modifying TGP code for boosted DOHC

OK, so when peeps talk about modifying the TGP code to work for a DOHC boosted aplication, what exactly do they mean? What gets modified and where? I am still considering boosting my DOHC but I have yet to begin anything until I am sure about what I will use for controling spark/fuel.

First idea was a Vortech FMU and a spark controler from http://www.split-sec.com . THey seem like feasible ideas but I wnt something a bit more reliable, so what do you guys think?

The TGP chip will not control a 4T60E tranny.

Modifying a TGP chip for a DOHC consists of copying over all the DOHC specific values. The remainder you have to figure out if it is a TGP or NA 3.1 thing, then chane the DOHC stuff to suite. All in all there are over 1000 values and tables to change.

Modifying a DOHC chip for boost consists of re-writing the MAP read routine and scaler for a 2BAR, modifying the spark and appropiate fuel tables to use the 2 bar variable, and adding in a BPW boost mult table and subroutine.

Brian, I notice you removed the ecm part of your website. It was verry informal. Do you still have it?
