  • need help hooking up a tach!! 93 LHO

so, im driving a 93 lumina base model with the 3.1 lho. my buddy gave me one of those little 2 inch sunpro tachs for my birthday since it was today. i figured it would be nice to have a new gauge to look at (since i only have 2 lol) and im trying to figure out which wire goes to where.

ive figured out where all are going but the green signal wire that gives the rpm reading. from my understanding its a wire thats connected to the ignition control module. but im not trying to splice any wires before im 100 percent on which wire is the signal wire.

anyone know of this? id really like to hook it up.

first off sorry for the late reply, just woke up (little past noon here)

but thats the kind of answer im looking for man, that sounded pretty specific to me lol. after i run some errands im going to try and hook it up in this 100 degree heat. ugh. or i may just wait untill tonight while its a tad bit cooler lol.

but what i will do is go check see if a white wire is there.

There is actually 2 white wires in that plug, it's the 3rd wire from the end.. right next to the open slot.
